Part of the family of local schools

Derby Cathedral School will be an inclusive school with high expectations which will offer a warm welcome and a high quality education to students from all families, regardless of faith. Our plans for the proposed secondary school are a continuation of the Diocese and Cathedral’s commitment to raising aspirations and opportunities for the young people of Derby.

We will have access to all of the operational structures and services already established within the Diocese of Derby Academy Trust schools. Our state-of-the-art facilities will be shared with the local community and strong links will be forged with other schools in the local area. With our proposals supported by Anne Martin, Head of the highly-regarded Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Ashbourne and Brian Walker, Head of the Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ West Park Community School in Spondon, we are already well on the way to joining the family of local schools, working together to equip students with the skills and qualifications to enable them to access high quality careers in and around the vibrant City.

If you haven’t already done so, please support our proposals by completing the registration form.
