Summer Reading Challenge
Reading is so important to everyone at Derby Cathedral School and we want to celebrate this fact by setting our students a summer reading challenge. Click on the link below to see this year's challenge and instructions. This challenge is open to all years, including year 6's who we will be welcoming to our school in September.
Students that have a go and submit their work to the librarian in the LRC on their return to school in September will be entered in to a prize draw.

Dr Frost's Summer Maths Challenge
Want to challenge yourself over the summer? Want to keep your maths skills tip top and your mind active? Perhaps want a chance to earn some Amazon vouchers? Then try Dr Frost's Summer Maths Challenge. It is very easy to take part. Simply:

- Complete the weekly challenges.

Year 9 to 10 Transition Pack
To help our students prepare for the leap to Year 10 our staff have compiled a set of transition activities for each of the subjects we will be offering. All students have to do is download the booklet, look up the subjects they are going to be taking and have a go at the small tasks that have been set. All work should be completed in students’ home learning books and brought to school in September; anyone who has filled their book can collect a pack of paper from school reception.
